Good Afternoon Central Middle and High School Families- Attached you will find an updated calendar for this school year. Because of the delays at the start of school, we needed to adjust the calendar to have the correct amount of school days for the Dept. of Education. Brief recap of changes: ~Nov. 6, 203 is now a school day for grades 6-12 (make-up for Sept. 11) ~Feb. 19, 2024 is now a school day for grades 6-12 (make-up for Sept. 12) ~May 28-31, 2024 are now school days for grades 6-12 (make-up for Sept. 5-8) ****There were no changes to the elementary calendar.*** If you have any questions, please reach out to the school office and they will happily assist you. Hey Central elmentary kids! Are you ready to kick-start an amazing school week?? The Girls Soccer Team at Central, greeted elementary students with open arms and big smiles Monday morning. Let's make this week a GOAL-filled week!

Learning took place outside of the classroom on Friday. Students in Ms. Williams Interior Design Elective Course went on a tour of the Parade of Homes in Carver County. Students completed an Elements of Design Scavenger Hunt looking for different ways the Elements of Design were used in each home. They toured a total of 6 homes and the students had fun seeing a variety of different design styles!

Early Childhood Screening is a simple, careful check of your child's physical development, thinking skills, speech and language, and social/emotional health. It is designed to ensure the healthy growth of students to be successful in any educational setting, and if needed, connect them to resources that will support their development. It is FREE through the local school district. Children should be screened between the ages of 3-5 (before Kindergarten). Screening at 3 is preferred, but a child may be screened between the ages of 3 and the start of kindergarten as required by law.
