FREE DENTAL CARE FOR UNDERSERVED CHILDREN February 2, 2024 and February 3, 2024 (Some clinics hold events on alternative dates.) HOW ARE APPOINTMENTS MADE? Families can locate a participating clinic by visiting www.mndental.org/gkas or contacting the United Way by dialing 2-1-1 or texting the zip code to 898-211. They can then contact the clinic directly to schedule an appointment. If you have any questions, please email sleclair@mndental.org. Give Kids a Smile is a charitable outreach program that provides free dental care to underserved children (typically ages 3-18). Dental clinics throughout the state volunteer to provide these services during Children’s Dental Health Month.

Carver Community Connect: Wednesday January 24, 2024 12 - 6 pm Chaska Community Center This event offers door-to-door transportation, a hot meal, FREE haircuts, and many other wonderful resources for families.

Central HS December Mental Health Break was the afternoon of Friday 12/22. Besides Bingo, Talent Show, and Classroom activities students participated in a Winter theme decoration contest. The winners were all from Senior Raidertimes. This week, we're thrilled to showcase the incredible talents of our 2nd Quarter 8th Grade Art students! They've masterfully blended Suminagashi Paper Marbling and Zentangling techniques to produce mesmerizing works of art that are truly one-of-a-kind. Community Education is seeking volunteers to supervise open gyms throughout the school year. Basic responsibilities include: overseeing the safety of students coordinating equipment cleanup and set up ensuring respectful use of the facility. A short training for volunteers is needed as well as a background check.
