Each year the American Legion Post 343, VFW #1783, their auxiliaries, NYA Beyond the Yellow Ribbon, and Central Schools host a Veterans day program where local veterans are honored for their service. After the program, Taher provides the Veterans and a guest with a complementary meal in the Media center where Central Student Council members serve.
