Central Public Schools Adopts

 2022-23 Calendar

At the January 24, 2022 school board meeting, the board voted unanimously to approve the 2022-2023 school calendar.  This calendar is very different from those in the past due to the upcoming renovation of the buildings.  Here are the highlights:

  1. School will begin on August 16, 2022 and end on May 5, 2023.

  2. Elementary students and grades 6 and 9 will have transition days similar to this year in August.

  3. All spring activities like prom, graduation, etc will be scheduled within the dates above.

  4. There is a spring break and MEA like typical years (this was identified as a priority by parents in the calendar survey).

  5. President’s Day in February is a longer break to have the correct number of school days.
