Dear Central Public Schools Families,
Ready, Set, Thrive! It is that time of year again. We are so excited to welcome you – new Raiders and familiar faces alike – and especially look forward to seeing you in person in our schools for the 2021-22 school year.
Last year, in spite of all its difficulties, was a very productive year for Central Public Schools. Our school board adopted a new 5-year strategic plan and a brand strategy to provide focus and an exciting look for our schools.
The strategic vision to “Ensure the next generation will identify ways to positively impact
our communities” is a strong indicator to where we want to go. To stay on course, the district has four main priorities we will keep at the forefront when making decisions. Our goals are:
1) Excellence in facilities and resource management
2) Expanding opportunities for increased achievement
3) Developing and attracting the highest quality staff
4) Innovating towards a destination school district – (Did you know we are the fast-growing zip code in the state? This affords us a unique, and challenging opportunity that we are embracing and gearing up to meet.)
What’s more you’ll notice a fresh new look around Central Public Schools – starting with this newsletter – from our website to signage and fun wearables. A steering committee of staff members worked with professionals to develop a new brand strategy that includes a new brand promise to guide our district’s actions and communications.
Central Public Schools promise to build a vibrant environment that embraces every student, energizing them to learn the vital skills necessary to adapt and thrive with resilience and compassion.
The process included an inspiring new logo and tagline. These new visuals reflect our brand personality and represent our commitment to both students and staff – Central Public Schools is a place where we help prepare students to get ready, get set and thrive!
In partnership~

Superintendent
