Central Public Schools is delighted to announce Sue Forster as the newly appointed
Director of Community Education, starting her role on July 15, 2023.
With an impressive 32-year career dedicated to Community Education, Sue Forster brings
a wealth of experience and expertise to her new position. Her extensive background
encompasses a diverse range of roles, including teacher, parent educator, and manager of
Early Learning Services. Sue's dedication and passion for lifelong learning have been
evident throughout her career, and she is excited to bring her wealth of knowledge to the
Central Public Schools community.
Sue Forster holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and
Family Studies from St. Cloud State University. Furthermore, she is set to complete her
Community Education Directors Licensure from the University of Minnesota by the end of
May, further enriching her qualifications and understanding of the field.

says Sue Forster. "Having worked in various capacities within Community Education for
over three decades, I am deeply committed to fostering positive connections between the

In her new role, Sue Forster will lead the district in developing and implementing
educational programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of Central Public

community partners, she aims to enhance educational opportunities, promote lifelong
learning, and cultivate a dynamic educational ecosystem.
